We clear offices, shops, medical practices, law firms, warehouses, halls, workshops and restaurants — in the evening or at the weekend if trading must continue. Billing is hourly at €55.00 net per person, and files are destroyed in line with the GDPR with a certificate.
An office with 10 to 15 workstations usually costs €1,800 to €3,500 net, an open-plan office or a whole floor €4,000 to €12,000 net. The basis is the hourly rate of €55.00 net per person plus vehicle, trailer and disposal by weight. Business clients can switch every price on this site to net at the top of the page.
Office furniture is bulky but light, unlike a private household. A desk with a pedestal and chair weighs around 60 kilograms but fills the better part of a cubic metre. So on office clearances the number of trips drives the price more than the weight does, and dismantling on site saves real money.
The second cost block is IT and everything electrical. Monitors, computers, servers, printers and phone systems go through the mandated take-back routes for electrical equipment. Data carriers are handled separately — see below.
A retail unit of 80 to 150 m² runs €2,500 to €6,000 net. The effort sits in the shop fit-out: shelving systems, counters, the till area and window displays are often screwed or glued in and have to be stripped out. Remaining stock is added by weight.
Here weight decides almost everything. Budget €55.00 net per person per hour plus €40.00 net per 100 kilograms of disposal. A 500 m² hall with pallet racking, leftover material and machinery quickly reaches 10 to 25 tonnes — €4,000 to €10,000 net of disposal alone.
Yes. Evenings and Saturdays are the normal case on commercial jobs, because the business next door keeps trading. Saturdays carry a 50 per cent surcharge. Sundays and public holidays are possible only by arrangement and only where legally permitted — Section 9 of the German Working Hours Act is strict here.
For commercial space a per-square-metre price says even less than it does for flats. An emptied office floor and a packed workshop hall of the same size differ tenfold in effort. It only becomes reliable after a site visit — for anything above roughly 200 m² we come and look as a matter of course.
Files are removed in sealed containers and destroyed by a certified provider to DIN 66399, and you receive a certificate of destruction. For documents containing personal data this is not an add-on but the only permissible route — paper with customer data does not belong in a skip.
Which security level applies depends on the content. Ordinary business correspondence is fine at level P-3, personal data is usually P-4, and health, client or HR data requires P-5. Tell us what is involved and the level appears in the quote.
Data carriers are the point most often overlooked. Hard drives in retired computers, old backup tapes, copiers with internal storage and even multifunction printers all retain data. We have them physically destroyed and certified separately, rather than handing them over as ordinary electrical scrap.
Commercial books, inventories, annual accounts and accounting vouchers must generally be kept for ten years under § 257 HGB and § 147 AO; received commercial and business letters for six years. Anything inside those periods must not be destroyed during a business closure — even if the business itself no longer exists.
In practice: separate the records subject to retention before the clearance and put them into storage rather than letting them be destroyed with everything else. The obligation outlives the business — in insolvency it passes to the administrator, and on a voluntary closure it stays with the former proprietor.
Practices and law firms have professional obligations on top, which can run considerably longer. Patient records must be kept for at least ten years after treatment ends under § 630f BGB, with longer special periods in some fields. In those cases we destroy nothing without express written release.

Evenings and Saturdays yes — Saturdays with a 50 per cent surcharge. Sundays and public holidays only by arrangement and only where legally permitted, with a 100 per cent surcharge. Section 9 of the Working Hours Act prohibits Sunday work outside licensed exceptions.
Yes. Partition walls, counters, shop fit-out, kitchen units and bolted shelving systems are removed, billed as working time. Structural work and electrical work on fixed connections are handled by specialist firms.
Working machinery is better sold separately before the clearance — the proceeds almost always exceed what scrapping returns. What remains goes into scrap metal. Operating fluids such as oils, coolants and solvents are billed separately as hazardous waste.
An ordinary office in one to two days, a floor in three to five, a large hall in one to two weeks. Where a handover date to the landlord is fixed, we plan backwards from it — mention it in the first conversation.
Yes. What matters is that the administrator places the order and that release of the estate is settled before anything is moved. On request we fully document the condition and every item removed.
Yes, physically and with certification. Wiping is not sufficient for retired hardware, and a copier with an internal drive is as affected as a server. Tell us the devices and it appears in the quote.
Two minutes on the phone often replaces half an hour of forms — in English, without a translation app. Tell us what needs clearing and we will tell you what it costs and when we can come.
